Android: GPS Location Manipulation

Step 1: Install "FakeGPS" app from play store


Step 2: Activate "Developer Mode" in your Android Smart Phone.
  1. Go to Settings > System > About phone.
  2. Tap Software info > Build number.
  3. Tap Build number seven times. After the first few taps, you should see the steps counting down until you unlock the developer options. You may also have to tap in your PIN for verification. Once developer options are activated, you will see a message that reads, You are now a developer!
  4. Go back to the Settings pane, where you will now find Developer options as an entry.
  5. Tap it and toggle the switch on if it is not already, and from there you can proceed to make adjustments to your phone.

Step 3: Set Mock Location app as "FakeGPS" in Developer Option. Now you are done.



Step 4: Set any location in "Fake GPS" app and share the location in Facebook, WhatsApp, Google map etc.


For example, the following figure shows that my location in Google Map is Chicago,USA.
