Linux Networking Tool: Wireshark

Available for both:
  • All Linux Platform: Ubuntu, Debian etc (Ubuntu store Include this)
  • All Windows Platform: Windows 8, 7 etc
Ubuntu Steps to run:
  • "Alt+Ctrl+T" will start terminal
  • It needs privilege mode of execution, so command= "sudo wireshark"
  • Choose any category from the list shown below and start scanning..

  • Now packets can be seen. Now choose any of these packets for more details. one UDP and One TCP packet details are give as examples
